Several years ago, I trained in hospice massage at The Heart Touch Project in Santa Monica, California.

Hospice or palliative massage is also known as Therapeutic Touch or Comfort Touch. It is of course, very gentle and slow, and offers the patient moments of peace and reduction of pain and anxiety.
